"Life is like a box of chocolates, ya never know what ch'you're gunna get."
This is a quote that I live by daily and hope to teach my kids this some day. To me this quote means that in life you have obstacles, and ya never know when you're going to get them. Life can throw you curve balls and then life can give you many "treats". You can't just take life with the bad, you have to be thankful for life. Another quote I can leave you with is, "Ya gotta take life with the good AND the bad." This was always told to me by my parents, relatives, friends, and my supporters.

Writing, College, and Education
I've always thought that I've had a problem with writing essays, and that I wasn't very good at them. The strange thing is that I write a lot in my life, although my writing daily doesn't happen much anymore, I still try to find time to write! Now by writing daily, I mean writing in my "journal". I guess you could say that writing an essay and writing in a journal are two very different things, but in a way they are similar! They are similar because they involve you to think, and just write. While writing an essay you most likely will have to involve some sort of source and facts, but with journalism you can have the freedom to write what ever you would like!
I'm 18 years old, and attending RCTC as a PSEO student. I am a student at Mayo High School, and this is my first year trying Post Secondary. I enjoy the flexibility A LOT and wouldn't go back to high school if I had the option! Why not get free college? :)
Education is something that can be hard for me to enjoy like some students. I have never really enjoyed school, and think that it can be a hassle. Even though I don't enjoy school, I need an education to get somewhere in life. I strive to get the best grades that I can, and try to ask for help when I need it!
Education, College, and Writing are three things that are very much in my life... Are they in your life as much as mine?
